Family Outing and The Weird Things We Found...

What an amazing day, summer has arrived in Edinburgh anyway that is for sure, it's roasting :D We went to the botanic Gardens to have a walk around and we came across some bizarre stuff...

If you want to get a Life, go this way...

We found a shoe shop for giants, pretty handy for Frazer with his size 13 feet, not showing off... honest ! :D
A wee happy face...
A sign that looks a bit like a strawberry...
A freaky rusty man statue in Leith River, great to scare a tourist friend on an evening river walk hahaha
The Poppy Factory, ever wondered who makes the remembrance poppies? No me either but now you know...
An abandoned shoe, maybe it was a prostitutes? My brain always comes up with scenarios in my head, she could be lying dead some place and her shoe is evidence! (no offence to anyone who has shoes like this haha)
A good name for an Edinburgh Hairdressers considering " The Edinburgh Fringe Festival" is one of the biggest in the world.

and anyway that was all the strange things we seen today, not bad for only four hours though... Oh and I added another "clayfitti piece to the city made out of scrap clay, inspired by Billie Holiday "Strange fruit" you can see more on my flickr album Outdoor Anarchy, I have quite a collection now.
