Robot Dance: Young Dumb and Living Off Mum

Young Dumb and Living Off Mum is a program throwing together 10 adolescents that have no life experience they get made to do work and jobs that are challenging for them.
This clip is so funny it's a bit in the program where one of the guys is doing a mental map of a flat in his head and it looks like he is body popping but you will have to watch it to appreciate it.I thought this was great editing it really does look like he's body popping and it just so stupid and funny! He is actually doing a mental map in his head! I found Dogan quite funny and I didn't think he came across as bad as some of the others. I personally thought he would be a good business man and seemed more street wise than the others although he had his moments too.

Daniel Pelletier, Paraplegic Skateboarder

I seen this over at Neatorama , This guy is amazing he is paralysed from the waist down but still manages all these tricks on the skateboard. His arms must be so strong, it must help that he can't feel stuff from the waist down for when he falls. It must still travel up his body and be sore though. OUCH but WOW at the same time.

Sugar Glider's: So Cute !!!

I hadn't heard about these adorable little creatures until my sister told me about them I have read a little about them and they need a lot of attention if you have them as pets. They bond very well to humans if you spend a minimum of 1-2 hours with them a day and it is recommended that you carry them around in your pocket because they are used to the pouch WAHHHH how cute is that! I would love one of these baby munchkins so much.

Metro pops: Giant Lolly Pops

I love these because anything that distorts reality is good in my books and what better way than to have the world look a bit more like candy land and willy wonka's factory. I reckon they might be made from acetate. Really cute and cool idea :)

The Perry Bible Fellowship

These are some of my favourite comic strips by the artist Nicholas Gurewitch, you might need to click on them to see them in large. I am too dense to get most of them straight away they make me have to think but I love his surreal style and quirky imagination I especially love the ones below because they are really cute , colourful but surreal and dark at the same time. If you want to read more then click here to go to the actual website.

My Life Is Average..

Remember I blogged about the site Fuck My Life well here is another site I found which is similar I like them both as much as each other and you can get sucked in for hours reading the mini stories click here to go to MLIA, and here is a snippet of some of them so you can get an idea of what it's about .. oh and a cool picture by Robin Keijzer..

  • Today, I was watching TV with my boyfriend and I absent-mindedly started tapping on his arm. Then I started tapping out a beat. My boyfriend looked over at me and said, "Robot Chicken theme song?" I knew we were soulmates. MLIA

  • Today, my boyfriend said in a very serious voice, "I have a request." Worried that something was wrong I told him to go ahead. He replied with, "When we get our own place can we buy a bunch of silly straws?" I know for sure that this is the man I will marry one day.

  • Today, I was driving to my girlfriend's when I pulled up next to this emo kid blasting screamo. I proceeded to roll down my windows and crank up the Pokemon Theme song. He turned his music down and rocked out with me. I feel I made a friend. MLIA

  • Today, While waiting for my toast, I decided to stare at the toaster so it would scare me when it pops out. It was successful. I found my new favorite game. I ate 7 slices of toast this morning. MLIA.

Editing and Customising My Desktop

I made my desktop look all funky, You will have to click on it to see it in large! quite geeky but it makes me happy to have it looking nice and I much prefer the cute icons to the boring ones you get on the computer already. Quite a short post today as I am shattered I'm working a lot more hours because the Edinburgh festival is on. Looking forward to the extra money this month though. I think my new desktop looks great apart from the bit at the bottom that says "Noneta" would be great if it had my name instead. Anyway must go to bed, shattered.
Here are some of the sites I used to find kawaii icons and cool backgrounds.

Zubbles Have Arrived: Coloured Bubbles

"Now, after ten years of experiments and discoveries, we have done what scientists claimed was impossible... we've combined the simple joy of bubbles with the beauty and magic of colour, inventing the world's first real coloured bubbles."

How exciting, I am looking forward to rainbow bubble parties! I think clear bubbles are still really cool although the novelty of coloured ones is nice. I love it when the impossible is invented as long as it is innocent enough and not cloning for example. They are only selling to the U.S and Canada at the moment. Here is the very colourful zubble site so you can read more about them.

Wacky Woolies Review

Wacky woollies is a cool brand from Ireland. My sister and my nephew Arran are visiting from Dublin and they brought me a little present the tin below! I love it and the chocolate was scrummy. The tin has all different sheep on it with different personality types and it even has a rainbow looking tie dye one called " trippy sheep" which appealed to my sense of humour. The tin is so cute and I'm going to use it to save up some money. To see more Wacky Woolis stuff go here. I love the fact the products have "Ireland" written on them.

Whose line is it anyway? african chant

This cracked me up. My mum used to let me stay up late just so I could watch this show when I was young. Even though it's old it hasn't got less funny I love this clip. My sense of humour might be weird though. You tell me...

Fuck my Life

This is a good site that will keep you amused for ages, It's filled with tons of disastrous, cringe worthy stories. I have been reading it for the past hour or so but I'm ill so I'm allowed to be doing pointless stuff haha. Anyway here is the link. Below is some of the best ones I found and a picture of candy land to make you happy...

Today, while teaching swim lessons, a boy was holding a noodle and claimed it was his fishing rod. Trying to be fun, I grabbed on and told him to "reel" me in. He then yells out 'YAY, I caught a whale!'. FML

Today, at the breakfast table my mum asked me what I thought about the plumber who came to our place a couple of weeks ago. I told her that I thought he was really cute and how hard I tried to flirt with him, she nodded and told me that he is her new boyfriend and might move in with us soon. FML

Today, I had to go to the police station to pick up my 42 year old dad. Why? He was caught stealing candy. FML

Today, I spent hours trying to get a piece of food out of my two front teeth. I didn't have anything I could use, until I went out to dinner and got a toothpick. I finally got the food out of teeth. The toothpick broke. Now the tip of the toothpick is stuck in my teeth. FML

Today, I walked in on my boyfriend humping my stuffed rabbit. I thought he was trying to be funny until I saw that he had an erection. FML

Today, I found out my husband had bought my 1-year-old daughter a shirt that says "Birth Control Fail" in pink glittery letters. He even took her out in it while I was at work. FML

Today, I was helping my brother clean his room. While putting clothes away, I found a box of thongs. They were mine. FML

Today, I went to the school I work at, to set up my new classroom. I'm 5'1" and I was carrying a backpack full of fun educational posters. I also have a new boss. When we met for the first time he was yelling at me because "there were no students allowed in here yet." FML

Today, I was volunteering at the library. A kid came up and asked me to help him peel the back off his sticker. It took me so long the kid left. Determined, I still tried to peel it off. Fifteen minutes later, the librarian came over, looked once at it, and told me it wasn't a sticker. FML

Bizarre, Funky, Cute and Weird Umbrellas

Do you know I have never bothered with an umbrella, that is until I came to live in Edinburgh. It rains all the time here even more than in Dundee it seems, so I bought a cheap boring little blue tartan one that fits in my bag. It does the job and it's something I couldn't live without now but I would love some of these ones I found. Especially the inflatable cloud umbrella and the UFOcap what a cool invention. Here are some more umbrellas you can go sing and dance in the rain with.
