Mini Cute Scene: You Gotta Hang Out The Washing..

I thought this was adorable and magical , imagine coming across this tiny washing line if you were a child it would be something you would remember for a long time. Very cute, unfortunately I don't know the artist who created this but it was so cute I wanted to share it anyway.
UPDATE: I have been told that this work is from Slinkachu the artist you can view more of his amazing little hand painted people scenes over at his blog here. Also the photographer Vincent Bousserez does similar photography to see his fantastic work check out his flickr page.

Short-eared Elephant-Shrews: So Cute Look

I finally found out what this adorable creature was that my friends cat brought in! I assumed it was a mouse but then noticed this little snout! how cute, even though it was dead it looked so angelic and very tiny, even smaller than a grown mouse and so detailed! The more I have read about the animal it turns out that their natural habitat is in Africa which really puzzles me!! Why would I find one in Scotland? Very strange unless there is an equivalent animal over here that looks exactly like this one. Also it was at my friends cottage in the country and there was a forest near by so it could have came from there! If any of you have any information about these then let me know. I think they are the cutest don't you?

Docomodake Kawaii Mushrroom

This is an adorable cute mushroom game and here are some photo's from the artist Rika Eguchi’s “Last Supper” installation at last year’s "How to Cook Docomodake" exhibition in New York. Photos by Marius Watz. You can see more by visiting the flickr site here. I watched some clips of the computer game to see what it was like and it looks quite cute. To see a video of the game click here. I love the little mushroom character.

My Old Band: Magnetic North Pole

This was a blast from the past (13 years ago blast). I was in a band called Magnetic North Pole when I was younger (age 16-17) Alex who was in the band uploaded some of our songs. We were actually quite successful and had some records made plus getting played on the radio, and now you can hear the music online for free. Also Snow Patrol supported us (I thought we just played with them) I didn't realise that until I seen some of the old band flyers and posters I have included some below so you can see Alex's handy work (lead vocals) and you can see more of his art here. The first Magnetic North Pole album, originally released as one side of a white vinyl split LP on Earworm Records in 1999

Kelburn Castle Graffiti Project

From the Kelburn Estate site. Also you can watch a time lapse video below of the Castle getting painted. I love this castle so much I'm happy it's in Scotland so I can actually go visit it! Normally these things are far away.

"The idea was simple and original: take the vibrant and often transient art form of Brazilian graffiti, out of its predominantly urban context and apply it to the ancient and permanent walls of an historic rural castle in Scotland.

Kelburn brought together four of the world’s leading graffiti artists from Brazil to work alongside Scottish talent, to create a unique burst of colour, embracing the walls and turrets of the south side of Kelburn Castle. On a building steeped in rural conservative perceptions, this bold and shocking artistic statement received huge media attention, while challenging the public’s understanding of both urban graffiti art and the British institution the building represents. It is a project of contrasts and collaboration that bridges between cultures, rural and urban realms and unites two proud and very different cultures.

The project will involved the artists and organizers living together in the Castle for approximately one month, documented by various forms of media. The artists had time to share and explore new ideas, from both sides of the equator, culminating in a one-off, giant piece of collaborative art"

Cyborg Human - Cyberdog Shop

These are some mad accessories from the company Cyberdog. The Cyberdog shop in London is covered in neon lights and is mainly dark with lots of U.V and glowing paraphernalia. Also loud music and different looking staff! It's an interesting little shop and I remember when I went to London around 10 years before the shop was much smaller, now it has grown. Anyway here is a link to the Cyberdog shop so you can have a look around.
