Amazing Moss Grafitti

Someone on my blog mentioned moss graffiti and I had to go check it out! this is so amazing I had to blog about it! I can't believe someone thought of this fantastic idea, it's good to the environment and it is truly beautiful too!
1 can of beer
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Several clumps garden moss

You will also need a plastic container (with lid),
a blender and a paintbrush

This website tells you how to do it. There is beer involved! haha! yes not for drinking though it is used in the mixture which is so simple to do you need to go have a look I think you will be surprised at how people do this I know I was. This is definitely one of the coolest things I have found out about for a while. I also found the photo of the lovely bath mat, wouldn't that feel great on your feet?

knitted Graffiti - Knitta Please

I showed some photo's before of people tagging poles and tree's with knitting I found a cool video which shows the woman behind this idea and she explains of how it came about. People on the you tube comments are moaning and saying it is pointless but personally I think anything that brightens up the world in any way and makes a grey dull piece of cement or a chipped old rusty pole look happier is good to me. The bus is so cool :) I might get some people together in Edinburgh to do this.

Pharmaceutical Drugs, Ritalin and Cocaine

Neuro soup is a girl that video blogs on youtube about a majority of issues I thought this video was interesting it's about pharmaceutical companies that put out the information that their drugs are different to street drugs, the profit margin and how governments are making billions on drugs she says "just because substances are prescribed by doctors or available over the counter doesn't mean they are not drugs, drugs like the ones that people go to prison for possessing" she also talks about Ritalin and how giving your child this is just like giving them cocaine. Do you agree?
You can check out her you tube channel here she has written a book and also does tutorials on astral projection and talks about other interesting subjects.

I roped my Lisa into being my model. I think I'm going to do that more often I like having models for the necklaces I think I will get all my clothes sorted into colour sets then get some of my friends over for a night of modelling and I can make up a secret goody bag for them to go home with in return. Do you think that sounds o.k?

Girl wanted 3 stars tatooed on face ... she got 56

I actually think it looks nice but it would be a shock to get 56 rather than 3! There is no way someone could fall asleep whilst getting their face tattooed though, I have never had a tattoo before though so I'm not 100% sure. Interesting video though. How much would it suck to have a bad tattoo that you hated though I feel bad for the poor girl.

Creative Morocco Article for Cut Out and Keep

I thought I would share with you my newest article that has been published in snippets the on-line magazine of cutoutandkeep here is a link. I love when snippets comes out I get really excited waiting for it to be released. You can see my most favourite photo I took in Morocco below! I'm so happy it has been used for a Morocco article :)

"I have been to Morocco twice and, after travelling around Europe and visiting America, it has definitely become my favourite place in the world. There are so many things that I love about the country and it's not just the boiling hot weather. One of the most important things is that the locals are talented and very creative. When you walk down the street, handmade items surround you. There are great restaurants, snake charmers and street musicians, who perform for you. The amazing thing about Morocco is that the people, who are creative and run their own businesses, are actually a lot better off financially. I imagine that is is more like the olden days and what our ancestors were use to. All of us Cut Out and Keep members would be living a great life.

Because the prices in Morocco are so cheap, we could easily afford to go out for amazing meals and buy our family fantastic gifts. Unfortunately, the reason for this is that there is little wealth in the country. In order to give back, we brought presents to give to the children - pens, t-shirts, plastic beads and other things they would like.

Another thing I love about the country is that the mosques have loud speakers, which echo out prayers, all around the city and lots of different mosques pray at the same time. Although we couldn't tell what they were saying, the sound gave a comforting and safe feeling. It was very relaxing and soothing to hear.

Every time that I have travelled to the country, I have taken the ferry from Spain, across the water to Tangier. However, I wouldn't spend much time in the city because of it's reputation for being a very dangerous place. Instead, we would head to Chefchaouen, my favourite Moroccan city. The buildings are painted with different shades of blue, so that the streets match the sky - quite the contrast to the dull grey buildings, here in the UK. There are little winding streets, filled with lots of shops that sell a wide range of handmade items, such as drums, carpets, bags and beads. There are also ladies, who will offer to paint your hands with Henna in beautiful patterns, which will last for a week or so.

You may hear a lot of horror stories about Morocco but, every time I have visited, I have met the nicest, kindest, funniest and great people. For example, on my second visit, I befriended a hat maker, who called himself Hat Man. We were almost at the end of our week holiday and needed our remaining budget for the ferry back, so he invited us to his little shop, that was full of amazing hats. He made us a Moroccan Tajine, which is just like a casserole, made with lots of goodies and filled with amazing spices. I still have the hat he made especially for me. We also got invited into lots of other shops and were given Moroccan mint tea, which I can’t get enough of and neither will you. Below is a recipe for making the famous mint tea.
Moroccan Mint Tea

* 1 cup of loosely packed fresh mint leaves
* 3 tsp. of sugar (per cup of tea)
Boiling water

In a teapot combine mint leaves, sugar and add boiling water.

Let tea steep for 5 to 10 minutes.

You can also put the mint leaves straight into the glass your drinking from, add the sugar and water and your ready to roll.

Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea is very Kawaii

I had to write about this film as it is so cute. I will add a trailer so you can watch. It is a very sweet film by the same director (Hayao Miyazaki) as Spirited Away and Howl's moving Castle. The plot centres on a baby fish in the sea named Ponyo who wants to become a human girl. In pursuing her goal, she befriends a five-year-old human boy who is also very cute, you can see him below! the film is very kawaii and also a good fairy tale and great animation I would definitely suggest watching it if you like cute stuff. There are not many English trailers around but you can watch the japanese ones to get an idea of how cute the film is ...
